MSC Software's Simulating Reality Magazine
Summer 2012 Supplemental Issue
This special supplemental issue of Simulating Reality was created shortly after the Curiosity Rover landed on Mars. NASA used MSC Software's product named Adams to help simulate the landing sequence.
I used public domain images and art from NASA, as well as created and retouched low-resolution parts of the rover and parachute to create high print resolution quality illustrations. I also worked with the creative team to develop the design, font treatment, and mood of this special magazine, which folds out from the center to create a four page long poster. This center spread poster showcases the illustrations I created detailing every step of the rover's landing sequence.
Spring 2013 Issue
This Spring 2013 special anniversary edition Issue of MSC Software's Simulating Reality commemorates the history and technilogical feats that MSC Software has help facilitate over the past 50 years.
I worked together with the Marketing and Creative Services teams to create this magazine by helping lay out spreads, create graphics, clean up images, and tweak the typography.
